高压低密度、低压高密度、线性低密度三套聚乙烯装置中，旋转阀用于塑料颗粒或粉末的输送。由于受生产流程限制，旋转阀均为单台设置，没有备用阀。所以旋转阀运行稳定与否，直接关系产品质量和产量。　　我厂高压聚乙烯装置旋转阀工况参数为：转数7r/min～45r/min，轴功率2.2kW，风量2160m3/h，风压0.06MPa，最大输送量8t/h，操作温度40℃。转子直径φ400mm，转子有效长度620mm。　　改造前的旋转阀轴承结构如图1所示。随着旋转阀的不断运转，轴封渐渐地受到磨损，塑料粉末通过轴封进入轴承，使得轴承很快被卡死，造成停机检修。而检修的手段是更换轴承和轴封，费时费力，影响生产。因此我们针对如何避免塑料粉末进入轴承里面，进行了旋转阀轴承结构的改进。改进后的轴承结构如图 2所示，轴承和轴封分开，轴封由骨架油封改为软填料密封，发现粉末泄漏可随时拧紧压盖。即使有些微漏，也不会进入轴承里，从而保证了旋转阀的稳定运行。
